After dominating the world of fashion and streetwear with game-changing Dior and Nike partnerships, Chitose Abe of Sacai officially takes the crown with her latest jewellery creations for Cartier.

Trinity has always held a special significance at Cartier, first created by Louis Cartier in 1924 as a minimalistic jewellery sold without diamonds or precious stones.

The three-band ring that eventually grew to be loved by men and women is now given a contemporary update by Chitose Abe of Sacai. The Japanese designer has put her spin on the Trinity by recreating it as six modular pieces that are the epitome of style and elegance.

All of them were recently unveiled at Sacai’s recent fashion show in Paris, and here’s a quick overview of what you can expect in the Trinity For Chitose Abe Of Sacai collection.

The line-up includes a bracelet, choker, earring and two rings, along with a hybrid design that can be worn as an earring or a ring. Each piece expounds on the signature mix of white, yellow and rose gold, taking on a different shape and look depending on how you choose to style them.

The exclusive collection is slated for a release in Japan this summer, followed by Paris, London, New York and Seoul later in the year. Stay tuned for more information, as well as prices and availability, which will be revealed in time to come.
