With iconic styles like the Triple S, Track and Speed under its belt, sneakers are a core category at Balenciaga today. Not one to rest on its laurels, Balenciaga has introduced the new Phantom Trainers in multiple colours and unisex sizes as part of the new Cities capsule collection this week.
The Phantom has a chunky shape but remains surprisingly lightweight due to the fabric/mesh upper that gives you cushion-like protection wherever you go. It will also come in 2 slightly different styles, with the first being the original Phantom Trainers (SGD1150) in mono-colour options like black and white.

The second variation is known as the Phantom Trainers Washed (SGD1350), which are intentionally made to look worn-in. These ‘washed’ versions will also be available in grey and pink for those who want more than just a regular black or white pair.
Subtle logo placements can also be found all over the shoe, printed on both the exterior and front outsole. Each pair is made in Italy, and the entire sneaker is devoid of leather elements to keep it lightweight. Keen to get a pair? Just visit the Balenciaga boutiques in Marina Bay Sands and Paragon Shopping Centre, or get them online if you’re confident of the sizing in general.
