It’s pretty hard to imagine how a large pillowy bag could ever be shrunken down to miniature proportions, but Louis Vuitton managed to pull it off in the Cruise 2022 collection with the new Coussin Beltbag. Officially the tiniest Coussin ever created to date, the belt bag measures just 13 cm wide and 11 cm high, making it an irresistible darling of the family.
While it can be carried within your palm like a compact-sized wallet, Louis Vuitton has embellished the accessory with several nifty elements so you can use it like an actual bag. The chunky gold-tone chain, for one, sets the tone right in front. Aside from being a decorative element, you can also opt to use it as a top handle so it becomes a chic evening bag if you so wish.
Each Coussin Beltbag will also be sold together with a longer (and thinner) chain strap with a drop length of 50 cm, so you can hook it around your waist or sling it over the shoulder for different looks. Crafted entirely out of soft and puffy lamb leather, the bag has two inner compartments for keeping cards as well as folded notes, all of which can be secured via a magnetic button clasp for easy use.
Priced at SGD2980 each, the bag is now available in two colours like Orchidée Purple and Noir, both of which can be found in limited quantities at the boutique in Takashimaya Shopping Centre. You can also stay tuned online to see if stocks will be replenished, or give Louis Vuitton’s local hotline a call at 6788-3888 to find out more.
