Dior Elite Shoulder Pouch

Comparisons will always be made between designer brands, and today’s spotlight shines on the all-new Elite Shoulder Pouch from Dior, one that you might liken to its sister brand’s dual pouch bag, but yet not quite. It does comes with two removable pouches (one small, and the other smaller) attached to an extra shoulder strap, with both pouches coming in the iconic beige and black #DiorOblique jacquard canvas. Yes, the generic idea is there, but there are several tweaks and differences which make this an equally excellent piece, mostly because they are jazzed up with the extra special Kim Jones effect.

The pouches come with a Saddle-shaped leather flap, paying homage to the iconic bag that has been brought back to life at Dior. Also, these miniature pouches open via two snap buttons, making it slightly easier to reach for your contents instead of fussing around with zips and the like. There’s also something rather androgynous about the overall design, one that can be disassembled and worn in various ways. You can keep it around the neck like a lanyard with a single pouch, or layer both on and use it like a two-in-one crossbody bag. Alternatively, you can pick the pouches apart and use each on its own like a clutch, or keep them within your bigger bags like the Book Tote, for example.

You will be able to find the Elite Shoulder Pouch (SGD2800) under the #DiorMen’s range, so do visit the boutiques at ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands to find more about them in person. If you need a quick reference on the size, the bigger pouch measures 20 cm by 18.5 cm, which is good enough for several important essentials. Besides, the entire ensemble is made in Italy, so you can be sure that you’re not just getting a stylish bag, but also one that comes with the quality to withstand the stresses of daily wear and tear.
