Louis Vuitton’s New Wave line of bags took the fashion world by storm when it launched in 2018, coming in a wave-patterned body in smooth calf leather that’s a far cry from the monogrammed pieces everyone has become very familiar with.

What’s new for 2019 includes the adorable Heart Bag, which comes in a heart-shape silhouette that measures approximately 18 cm at its widest and 15.5 cm from top to bottom. Coming in calf leather with the same quilted patterned body as its New Wave predecessors, the bag is finished with the multi-coloured Louis Vuitton logo on the exaggerated leather zip pull tab that also doubles up as a wristlet sling.

Whether you carry it as it is, carry it as a sling, or even use it as a bum bag, the Heart Bag is also pretty functional, made even better by the decorative elements on the front of the bag, all of which are symbols close to the heart of the Parisian luxury house. Priced at SGD3100 and available now at all Louis Vuitton boutiques across the island, it comes in Red (perfect for Lunar New Year/Valentine’s Day) as well as Black (SGD2400, but without the additional embellishments), also another good option for those who prefer all things classic.
