I never thought the day would come that Casio G-Shock watches would be considered ‘sexy’ by me but yes, folks, that day has come. Strictly limited edition pieces that will be released on 13 April 2018 in small quantities, there are two ‘colours’ in this GMW-5000 collection. The first is a stainless steel rendition, the second is apparently gold-plated to some degree, though I still have to verify that first.

Equipped with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a fine G-Shock timepiece, there’s also an app that lets you link up via Bluetooth to allow for many tasks, including calendar settings, reminders and world time city settings, amongst others. Tentatively priced at USD550 and USD650 respectively for the silver and gold ‘Full Metal’ versions respectively, do watch this spot for more updates.

For those who have been waiting patiently for more updates regarding this pair of watches, well, here you go. To be released in Singapore on 25 April 2018, it will only be available in limited quantities at Supplies & Co (#03-09/10, Mandarin Gallery). Take note though, it’s a private event and only invited guests will be allowed first dibs.

No worries on that though, because from 26 April, it will be sold at all G-Factory outlets except the one at IMM. Prices? For the GMW-B5000D-1 (Silver) it is priced at SGD799, while the GMW-B5000TFG-9 (Gold) will retail for SGD949.
