I don’t know about you, but there’s something very adorable about Anya Hindmarch’s new Space Invaders Bathurst Satchel from its Fall-Winter 2016 collection that’s now available online. Why? For starters, the blue/grey/white camo print caught my eye, made even better because it’s printed on exotic python skin, for an effect that’s both slightly 3D and tactile.

Measuring 32.5 cm by 24.5 cm, the satchel comes with a top handle, along with a thick canvas sling finished with gold lobster clasps for those who prefer to go hands-free while carrying it. And in keeping with the whole Space Invaders theme, the ‘space monster’ forms the clasp of the bag, where you’ll have to untwist its mouth in order to get in. Priced at GBP2750, which isn’t exactly cheap due to its exotic skin exterior, there are plain leather variations that come in at just half the price. Not as cute, nor as eye-catching, but fun all the same.
