If you’re still searching frantically for your very own piece of Mansur Gavriel, I’ve got good news. Well, sort of, anyway, and provided you have fast fingers, of course. Everyone’s favourite basic leather bags with affordable prices is touted to be restocking their online stock today, which means you should finally be able to get your hands on everything from the elusive Mini Mini Bucket (starts from USD395) to the classic Mini Backpack that starts from USD575.
And while you’re online at Mansur Gavriel before the madness begins, you should check out the newish bags added to its repertoire, from the Crossbody (their take on the basic sling messenger with curved edges) to the Lady Bag, a top handle satchel-like bag that also comes with a long adjustable sling.
Now for the not-so-good news. While Mansur Gavriel ships internationally (yay), shipping isn’t cheap (nay), with the cost of delivering one bag to Asia set at USD75, something you’ll have to consider before checking out with your credit card. Or, as I’ve heard, just head on down to On Pedder at Ngee Ann City if you’re in Singapore where they are taking pre-orders (and deposits) for selected Mansur Gavriel styles, including the super adorable Mini Mini Bucket.

I got mine this time around, very luckily, one Mini Black/Flamma Bucket and a red Crossbody. I went with Comgateway which averaged USD50 per bag, on top of USD10 per bag which MG charged for US shipping, total shipping for one bag was USD60, so a savings of USD15 per bag.
Not too bad considering DHL only took 2 days to ship to me in HK. The last round of relaunch in May, the same thing happened to me as NEL, I didn’t manage to even go to the payment page before everything was sold out in a minute. This time round maybe the lucky stars were smiling at me. Or perhaps people were going for the new Lady Bag which left lots of ample stock for the buckets. I noticed the Lady Bags were all gone by the time I checked out my Mini Bucket. That said, I’m loving the vegetable tanned leather as it is keeping a good structured shape which I like. Let’s see how this ages…

I got it with my husband’s pro-gamer skills. It’s probably reaching tomorrow and yes I hate the shipping cost but at least it’s fast. Are the prices at On Pedder the same as the prices on the MG website?
That’s great news indeed! Prices at On Pedder are higher than the MG’s online site but you will get it faster because OP is only taking pre-orders for now.

It’s not even about fastest fingers. Went straight to the page at 11am EST sharp, got the bag in my cart but just couldn’t check out because it kept disappearing from my cart even though they said you have five minutes to check out before the bag is gone. Not sure if this is fair. You should tell them about this. A big killjoy.
