YSL Beauty is taking its popular LIBRE fragrance family in a bold new direction. LIBRE Santal Couture marks the line’s first woody floral scent, anchoring this limited edition in warm New Caledonian sandalwood. Rather than sticking to bright floral roots, it offers a richer, more enveloping take on the house’s signature freedom.
Perfumers Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaïm softened the wood’s traditionally masculine edge with familiar scent signatures. Firstly, French lavender and a Moroccan orange blossom accord provide the floral backbone. A note from orange flowers in YSL Beauty’s Ourika Community Gardens, recreated with Headspace technology, adds further fidelity. The resulting blend trades absolute polish for a slightly more raw, textured finish.
The LIBRE Santal Couture arrives in a deep, glossy brown glass bottle that channels both tailored leather and carved timber. The gold YSL Cassandre logo wraps around its angular planes, bending seamlessly with the sharp lines. Sold exclusively in 50 ML, it retails at SGD235 at YSL Beauty boutiques and Sephora. The LIBRE Vanille Couture also returns this year. It first appeared as a holiday limited edition and has since joined the permanent range.

Alongside the fragrance, YSL Beauty unveils its Holiday Show 2026 collection. The theme is a lavish dinner party decked in burgundy and gold. Highlights include the YSL The Slim Lipstick (SGD66) in #37 Plum Velours and a new nude, #1961 Nude Fizz. The YSL Loveshine Plumping Lip Oil Gloss also appears in the new #1982 Burgundy Millesime and #1961 Nude Fizz.
Then for the eyes, the YSL Couture Mini Clutch Palette (SGD122) returns in #1982 Burgundy Millesime, housed in a puffy burgundy case. Finally, the YSL Make Me Blush (SGD89) rounds things out in #06 Rose Haze and a new gold-shimmer shade, #1982 Burgundy Millesime. All launches also appear in exclusive holiday gift sets. Ladies’ offerings come in white boxes with a gold diamond motif, while men’s feature full black packaging with a silver Cassandre.
