For spring-summer 2027, Onitsuka Tiger staged a show at Milan Fashion Week titled ‘ENERGY STATION’. The concept envisions a crossroads where travellers from different worlds stop, recharge and set off again. It’s a fitting metaphor for the brand itself as it honours its past while heading into a new chapter. Across 49 looks, the house blended tailoring with sportswear, and of course the shoes tell the story best.
While the bags and a surprise partnership also deserve attention, the most symbolic moment saw the debut of a redrawn Onitsuka Tiger Stripe. The brand has worn its stripe for generations, and rather than replace it, the designers kept its spirit but reshaped its form for a modern eye. Set to be the visual signature of what comes next, it signals a clear shift in direction for Onitsuka Tiger.

Leading the footwear lineup is the MEXICO X66. Now reimagined in metallic leather, it bears an antique-inspired finish and a fresh colour palette. It also arrives as a mule for the first time, its proportions influencing many other silhouettes on the runway. Boots bring plenty of attitude too, with knee-high lace-ups in Tiger Yellow and floral prints. Meanwhile, mid-calf boxer-style boots come with heels in metallic shades.
Pumps also arrive in two flavours. The first is vintage-feeling with a chunky heel, while the other pairs a pointed-toe with metallic silver. Then a relaxed take on the penny loafer rounds out the Onitsuka Tiger spring-summer 2027 footwear. Altogether, the range spans the footwear gamut, offering options for casual days, formal evenings and everything in between.
On the accessories front, Onitsuka Tiger keeps its bag selection compact and graphic. Cuboid silhouettes bring architectural structure, studded designs add a rock-and-roll edge and small flap shoulder bags round out the range. Bags are a growing focus for the brand, making this season especially exciting for those who like to dress matchy-matchy from head to toe.

The biggest surprise of the night, however, was a collaboration with Honda, the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Tying directly back to the show’s theme of energy and speed, the partnership borrows graphics and shapes from motorcycle culture and rebuilds them in lightweight mesh and jersey. The Japanese mobility giant’s iconic winged logo also appears throughout as a unifying motif. Onitsuka Tiger’s spring-summer 2027 collection certainly makes a bold statement about where the brand is headed next.
