Rimowa joins forces with Faber-Castell. The famed German pencil maker marks 265 years of history and nine generations of family ownership this year. Together, the two houses unveil the limited-edition Rimowa x Faber-Castell Artist Case, reframing Rimowa’s signature aluminium shell as a vessel for creative work.

Crafted entirely from anodised aluminium in Rimowa’s Cologne factory, the elegant case opens to reveal a two-level tray. It holds a complete drawing kit, starting with co-branded 2B graphite pencils featuring grooves that echo Rimowa’s ridged design. Alongside them sits the full 120-shade set of Faber-Castell’s Polychromos colour pencils, plus a platinum-plated sharpener and eraser stamped with the Rimowa logo.

Design cues tie the Rimowa x Faber-Castell Artist Case firmly to the German luggage maker’s heritage. A leather handle paired with the aluminium shell is a nod to the Classic suitcase line. Like all Rimowa aluminium pieces, the surface collects scratches and develops a patina over time. Left open, the case doubles as a display, keeping every pencil visible and neatly in place.
It’s a fitting pairing of two German heritage manufacturers, both built on precision and creative flair. Ready to colour your world? The Rimowa x Faber-Castell Artist Case launches on 17 September 2026, priced at SGD4160. It will be available through dedicated Rimowa stores and online platform.
