Dior Maison’s latest home collection draws on a formative chapter in Monsieur Christian Dior’s childhood. In particular, his love for Jules Verne’s ‘Around the World in Eighty Days’ provides the spark. That early fascination with adventure and far-flung travel has shaped the house’s imagination for decades. Now, the Fantastique Voyage de Monsieur Dior tableware collection continues the tale.

Under artistic director Cordelia de Castellane, the classic story becomes the backbone of the entire line. The collection’s central emblem is the hot-air balloon, a fitting nod to Verne’s world of exploration. Dior renders it across a suite of Limoges porcelain, each piece hand-finished with the fine detailing that defines the material.

The Fantastique Voyage de Monsieur Dior line spans dinner plates, dessert plates, oval serving dishes and a trinket tray. Threaded throughout the illustrations are recurring house symbols, such as the CD monogram and eight-pointed star. Others include the bee, rose, clover and lily of the valley. Each has featured across Dior’s ready-to-wear and design language for years, grounding the whimsy in heritage.
In Singapore, prices start at SGD490 for the trinket tray, while the oval platters range from SGD850 to SGD1000. Both the dinner and dessert plates come exclusively in sets of six, retailing at SGD2700 and SGD2000 respectively.
