More than two decades after it defined the early 2000s It-bag era, the Paddington is back. Chloé marks the anniversary with a pair of fresh styles for fall-winter 2026, reworking the iconic bulbous silhouette for a very different fashion moment. The oversized padlock and C-shaped buckles cinching the handles remain, but almost everything else has evolved.
The first update reimagines the bag in suede calfskin, a material with a noticeably softer, slouchier drape. At 36 cm wide, the roomy main compartment with a zip pocket means it serves as a solid daily carry. The brass padlock still dangles off the front like a piece of jewellery, a signature detail since day one. Colour options include a chocolatey Kohl Brown, as well as Dusty Beige and Vintage Brown.

Then comes a second, and more dramatic, rethink of the icon. Dubbed the Paddington Sling, this version swaps the slouchy satchel shape for something tighter, boxier and more architectural. Crafted in smooth nappa lambskin, it features a structured body, dual top handles and a cleaner silhouette. The oversized padlock appears once more, joined by a run of studs along the surface for a tailored edge.
An adjustable strap adds further versatility, a clever way to give one bag two distinct personalities. Worn by the top handles, it reads as a classic structured carry. Slung crossbody, it takes on a hands-free sensibility nobody was emphasising 20 years ago. The Small Paddington Sling measures 27 cm wide and 17 cm high, and is available in Black and Burnt Red.
In Singapore, the Small Paddington Sling retails at SGD3790, while the suede versions are priced at SGD4000. Both arrive as Chloé continues to build on the Paddington’s enduring appeal. Season after season, the maison proves a cult favourite can evolve without losing its original codes.
