Chanel’s fall-winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection takes flight, quite literally, around the image of transformation. The caterpillar-to-butterfly motif is a fitting metaphor. Here, Matthieu Blazy takes Gabrielle Chanel’s earliest ideas and lets them metamorphose into something distinctly modern. The collection is all about opposites in balance, where structure meets ease, restraint meets excess, and day dissolves into night.

At its heart are suits and jackets reinterpreted in unexpected fabrics and silhouettes. Iridescent colours, bead-woven suits and lurex pieces all trade rigidity for movement. Jackets, unsurprisingly, do much of the talking. Bombers arrive in suede or checked wool, several with collars snapped upright to reveal the CC logo. Tweed, meanwhile, plays on proportions the way Mademoiselle Chanel did when she first borrowed from menswear.

Nature runs through the entire collection. Flowers bloom across dresses, jewellery and bags, while Chanel’s fall-winter 2026 palette leans toward soft, light-catching tones. Accessories carry the same blend of polish and whimsy. Think resin jewellery in candy colours, mother-of-pearl with a subtle tint, and flap bags returning with added texture in embossed leather.

The campaign, shot by Julien Martinez Leclerc, gathers a wide cast of faces. The roster includes Awar Odhiang, Bhavitha Mandava, Noor Khan, Trinidad Castaño, Xiuli Jiang, Imane Benkaddour, Julia Morais, Adeng Marial, Lais Hames, Stephanie Cavalli and Anne Vyalitsyna. Altogether, they bring the many versions of a ‘Chanel woman’ to life, each embodying a different facet of Blazy’s vision.

In Singapore, the #CHANELFallWinter 2026 collection launches on 22 September 2026 at Chanel boutiques in Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
