Good news, great news for fans of Bottega Veneta’s Barbara tote. The boxy silhouette with tubular handles and capacious interior now comes in a diminutive Baby size. A new suede edition of the large version also joins the lineup. Broadening choices in both scale and material, both launch as part of the fall-winter 2026 campaign.
Baby officially takes the spot as the smallest in the range. Measuring 21.5 cm wide and 15 cm high, it shakes off the oversized carryall vibe entirely. Instead, it delivers a compact top-handle bag that sits in the crook of the elbow. A sliding crossbody strap also adds a hands-free option, and the ring loop attachments sit discreetly inside, preserving the bag’s clean proportions.
Crafted in supple nappa leather Intrecciato with brass Vibrato hardware, the Baby Barbara (SGD6380) launches in four colourways. These comprise Black, Glacial (ice blue), Petroleum (dark navy) and Silica Grey. A tonal internal mirror tucked into the inner pocket rounds out the details.
The Large Barbara, meanwhile, receives a different kind of update in a new Obsidian Grey suede. Soft, matte and with a lived-in appeal, suede trades high-gloss polish for understated warmth. Also crafted in the Intrecciato weave, its tactile richness sets this edition apart from its nappa leather siblings.
Currently available for pre-order at SGD10,990, the suede Large Barbara has an estimated fulfilment date from 6 November 2026. Alongside the Baby Barbara, these updates underscore Bottega Veneta’s continued investment in a silhouette that shows no signs of slowing.
