After years of digital-only access, Polène Paris finally opens its first Singapore boutique at Marina Bay Sands. The 84 sqm space marks another milestone in its global expansion, following outposts in London, New York, Tokyo and Seoul. This places Singapore amongst cities the brand values for their appreciation of art, architecture and craftsmanship.

Each Polène Paris boutique stages a dialogue between the house’s leather expertise and the character of its surroundings. For the Singapore outpost, architect Moshe Safdie drew inspiration from the traditional fishing huts that once lined the city’s coastline. The resulting space evokes concepts of shelter, shade and lightness, all filtered through the brand’s minimalist lens.
Leather takes centrestage throughout the Singapore boutique, with a welcoming arched façade setting the tone at the entrance. Inside, suspended panels of full-grain Italian leather form a canopy overhead, gently filtering light while adding texture. Each panel took close to three hours to weave by hand. Elsewhere, wall panels carry subtle linear motifs inspired by the Solé bag’s distinctive leather beads.

The material palette further balances warmth and refinement. Light-toned flooring contrasts with sculptural dark walnut furnishings, while a modular display table at the centre appears almost weightless. Here, visitors can explore Polène’s signature bag designs, including the Cyme, Numéro Neuf and Numéro Dix.
Beyond shopping, the boutique also hosts Craft at Work - A Puzzle of Leather. The interactive installation offers a glimpse into leather craftsmanship. A specially developed machine recreates the precise cutting process behind the Mokki bag, demonstrating how 36 individual pieces come together. It is a hands-on reminder of the meticulous work behind every creation.
The new Polène Paris Singapore boutique sits at B2-108A at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. It opens from 10.30 AM to 10 PM from Sundays to Thursdays, and till 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
