Jacquemus has a knack for reimagining wardrobe staples. Le Turismo is a prime example. The brand’s take on the classic bowling bag, its rounded silhouette and signature knotted detail quickly earned cult status. Since then, the design has evolved, with miniature iterations, roomy everyday versions and even a crocodile-embossed suede runway edition. Now, Jacquemus takes it further with the Long Turismo.
East-west silhouettes show no sign of fading, and this new shape offers a more understated take on the trend. Rather than dramatic elongated proportions, it opts for clean lines and restrained elegance. Where the original leaned into the rounded form of a bowling bag, this version adopts a softer horizontal profile with curved edges and a flap top.
Crisp architectural piping gives the Long Turismo its sharpened form, while familiar Jacquemus signatures remain intact. The knot-embellished handle and embossed logo sit alongside a magnetic flap closure and a leather cinch loop at the side. Altogether, these details anchor the new shape firmly within the broader Turismo design language.
Practicality matches the polish. Measuring 33 cm by 18.5 cm by 11.5 cm, the bag holds its own on function. Jacquemus lines the interior in cotton and fits it with a zip pocket and patch pocket for smaller essentials. The main compartment, meanwhile, comfortably accommodates a wallet, phone, AirPods, keys, sunglasses and even a small water bottle.
Priced at USD1570, the Long Turismo is now available in Dark Brown and Light Yellow grained leather, as well as a Khaki suede calfskin version. Equal parts understated and versatile, it makes a worthy addition to the Turismo family.
