Gucci is reaching back into its archive, and pulling out three new bag silhouettes in GG canvas. The Borsetto, the Paparazzo and a roomy yet-to-be-named shoulder tote all share the same beige-and-brown canvas. The brand’s signature green-red-green web stripe runs through each one, proving that some house codes never go out of style. Instead, they simply resurface for a new generation of shoppers.
Firstly, the Borsetto in medium leans hard into old-school Gucci glamour. Its rounded, structured barrel recalls the classic Gucci Boston bag. Dark brown leather trim wraps the top handles, zipper pulls and base. Horsebit hardware and an oval leather luggage tag add vintage flourish without tipping into costume territory. Rolled top handles, meanwhile, keep it an easy grab-and-go option. Measuring 28 cm by 15 cm, it is the smallest of the three.

The Paparazzo then takes a different approach in the same GG canvas and leather combination. Where the Borsetto is all curves, the Paparazzo is trapezoidal. A boxy, envelope-style flap closes over the front and secures with a magnetic snap. At 32 cm by 24 cm, the medium size strikes a practical balance. It fits an iPad, a book and even a small water bottle. Sharp enough for the office, it also works for dinner afterwards.

Finally, the large shoulder bag with web flips the script entirely. Designed to be thrown over one shoulder and filled to capacity, it favours function over fuss. The canvas drapes rather than holds its shape, lending a relaxed, slouchy silhouette. Web stripe and brown leather trims keep it grounded in the same design language. The canvas here, however, carries a slightly coated finish.
Each shoulder bag also comes with a small detachable pouch that dangles just above the main body. It offers a handy spot for a lipstick or travel-sized perfume. No more digging through the cavernous main compartment. At 39.5 cm wide and 29 cm high, this bag suits weekends, short getaways or even trips to the gym.
Altogether, the three silhouettes in GG canvas make a strong case for Gucci’s range. The Borsetto is nostalgic and rounded, the Paparazzo is clean and geometric, and the shoulder bag is roomy and functional. Priced at SGD3850, SGD4290, and SGD3130 respectively, this trio offers three distinct ways into the brand’s monogram era.
