In recent months, Dior has streamlined its men’s bag lineup to the Archie, Book Tote, Jett, Saddle and Normandie. Amongst them, the timeless Jett messenger bag with flap has emerged as the clear anchor. Now, the family steps into a fresh chapter with the classic beige/black #DiorOblique canvas.
Loved for its easy-to-use silhouette and chunky CD buckles, it is easily one of Dior’s most recognisable men’s codes. Previous iterations of the bag, however, leaned on brown jacquard, Dioriviera sun-stripe editions and even eye-catching book-cover prints. This time around, Dior goes back to basics. The newly released styles arrive in the house’s signature beige-and-black jacquard.
Alongside the new #DiorOblique colourway, Dior has been steadily expanding the Jett family. Mini and small messenger bags offer the silhouette without the bulk, while zipped backpacks borrow the same flap-and-hardware language. The hardware ties every piece together, particularly the CD buckles with polished silver finish. Clearly visible on the flap and straps, they give each style an unmistakable family resemblance.
With the Jett in #DiorOblique canvas, Dior has built a messenger bag with flap that pairs as easily with tailoring as with denim. The small size (SGD4800) measures 27 cm by 23 cm. In contrast, the mini (SGD2900) sits far more compact at 20 cm by 15 cm. Either way, this versatile, understated carryall will slot smoothly into most men’s wardrobes.
