When Bottega Veneta revived the Campana from its archives, the silhouette quickly became one of the house’s most defining shapes. Now, the Italian fashion house takes the story a step further with the Baby Campana. This scaled-down edition trades roomy, everyday functionality for something more compact, more polished and arguably more versatile.
True to the house’s understated codes, the comeback icon lets its signature Intrecciato weave do all the talking. There is neither obvious branding nor hardware theatrics here. Even the interior remains deliberately unlined, allowing the woven leather to show through. It reinforces a clear message that construction, not decoration, is the point.
Measuring 20 cm wide, 12.5 cm high and 9 cm deep, the Baby Campana holds daily essentials with ease. A flat, rectangular base helps the supple leather hold its shape, a small but useful structural detail. This is also the only size to include a sliding leather strap, a feature its larger siblings do not offer. This comfortably rests in the crook of an arm or over the shoulder, making it both daytime-practical and evening-appropriate.
Retailing at SGD5200 in Singapore, the Baby Campana launches in four colourways. Black and Espresso anchor the range as key Bottega Veneta shades. Glacial and Silica Gray, meanwhile, arrive as seasonal hues for fall 2026.
The Baby Campana folds easily into daily dressing rather than sitting reserved for a single occasion. Pair it with a slip dress and heels for a formal dinner, or dress down with jeans and a crisp shirt. That kind of quiet versatility continues to define Bottega Veneta’s current chapter.
