The fashion world is craving a little more joy, and these four fruit bag charms are certainly delivering. Delvaux, Dior, Loewe and Louis Vuitton each release their own edible-looking trinket this season. Line them up and you get a fruitful lesson in how a strawberry, pear, orange and dragonfruit can translate into a luxury accessory.

01 - Delvaux Fruitissimo Strawberry Charm, POA
This isn’t the first time Delvaux has delved (no pun intended) into bag charms. In fact, the Belgian fashion house has dedicated an entire line to whimsical Brillant charms over the years. What’s new this season, however, is the Fruitissimo Strawberry charm in a shade of raspberry.
Shaped like a plump strawberry in Taurillon Soft grained leather, it comes dressed in gold-tone hardware. Far more functional than a typical charm, it zips open and has its own removable wrist strap. 02 - Dior Pear Bag Charm, SGD700
Dior’s pear is Jonathan Anderson’s take on orchard-fresh whimsy. Crafted in yellow calfskin, the Pear Bag Charm features a small enamel caterpillar detail on its surface. There’s no zip or hidden pouch, but just a leather cord finished with Dior-engraved tips.
When paired with the Dior Book Tote, it aligns with Anderson’s instinct for turning humble, everyday objects into something uncanny yet oh-so-desirable. DIOR
03 - Loewe Peeling Orange Charm, SGD1300
Loewe’s creative identity has long hinged on turning everyday objects, such as tomatoes, eggs and balloons, into slightly surreal leather pieces. The Peeling Orange Charm certainly fits right into that lineage. Rendered in brass and calfskin, and styled mid-peel, it looks as if caught in the act of being unwrapped.
While it’s the most minimal of the four in terms of function, the focus is squarely on form over utility. Think of it as a tiny piece of art you happen to clip onto your favourite Loewe bag. LOEWE
04 - Louis Vuitton LV Dragon Fruit Bag Charm, SGD1420
Leave it to Louis Vuitton to pick the least subtle fruit on the produce shelf and make it even louder. The LV Dragon Fruit Bag Charm fully commits to the exotic fruit, from the electric pink skin right down to the scattering of black seeds across the surface. Tiny embossed LV initials amongst them, a very on-brand bit of logo mania hiding in plain sight.
Crafted in leather and canvas with silver-tone hardware and a snap-hook closure, the whole thing unzips into a functioning little pouch. It’s roomy enough for a set of keys or a pair of wireless earbuds. LOUIS VUITTON
