Vacheron Constantin adds two new references to its Overseas line, and the headline change is colour, not complication. Both watches arrive in a 34.5 MM case pitched squarely at smaller wrists, while keeping every visual signature intact. The first pairs an 18K pink gold case with a warm, golden-lacquered dial. The second opts for stainless steel and a deep red-lacquered dial.

Both dials share a sunburst satin-finish base and a velvet-textured outer minutes track. The combination shifts with the light at every angle, with blue Super-LumiNova adding night-time legibility. On the pink gold model, matching hour markers and hands create an almost monochromatic effect. The steel version takes the opposite approach, contrasting its bold red dial with 18K white gold markers for a sportier finish.

Despite the smaller diameter, neither watch abandons the Overseas’ defining design codes. The hexagonal, Maltese Cross-inspired bezel and the bracelet’s half-cross-shaped links carry over intact. So does Vacheron Constantin’s interchangeable strap system that lets you switch the look to match the occasion.

Each watch ships with a metal bracelet, a textured rubber strap and an alligator leather strap, all swappable without tools via an easy-fit mechanism. The pink gold model leans into a lighter palette with white rubber and white alligator options. The steel version, meanwhile, echoes its dial colour through a deep red rubber strap and a red alligator strap with tonal stitching.

Powering both models is the manufacture Calibre 1088/1, a self-winding movement comprising 144 components and 24 jewels. It provides roughly 40 hours of power reserve. Each case measures 34.5 MM in diameter and 9.33 MM thick, fitted with a screwed-down crown and sapphire-crystal caseback. It also offers water resistance to approximately 50 metres, so no worries about occasional splashes throughout the day.

In Singapore, the deep red-lacquered Overseas in stainless steel retails at SGD36,200, while the 18K pink gold model comes in at SGD81,000. Two watches that deliver the full technical rigour and design vocabulary of Vacheron Constantin’s Overseas collection, but recalibrated for more delicate wrists.
