Over the years, Rimowa’s grooved aluminium suitcases have appeared in a spectrum of collectible shades. Each is a testament to the German luggage brand’s mastery of colour anodisation. Now a new Ink Blue joins its iconic Original collection as a permanent colourway. Inspired by the enduring language of ink, the deep midnight blue hue balances heritage with contemporary sophistication.

A cinematic campaign starring American actress Sydney Lemmon introduces the new shade. Guided by letters penned in blue ink, she embarks on a search for love in atmospheric Shanghai. Her journey winds through aquariums and karaoke lounges across the blue-tinted city, trusted suitcase in tow. Meanwhile, campaign visuals also feature Mando-pop superstar and friend of the brand, Jay Chou.
Three sizes anchor the range: the Original Cabin (SGD2080), Original Check-In L (SGD2600) and Original Trunk Plus (SGD3380). But the Ink Blue offering extends well beyond the suitcase line. The colourway also makes its way into the Groove collection, gracing the Cross-Body Bag Small (SGD1600) and the Cross-Body Bag Large (SGD2360), alongside the Groove Zipped Pouch (SGD730).

Completing the lineup is another coordinated range of travel accessories in denim. Packing cubes come in small, medium and large (SGD230, SGD240 and SGD260), joined by the Toiletry Pouch Trifold (SGD430). Finally, Rimowa’s first Reversible Bucket Hat (SGD320) rounds out the set, complete with its own matching travel pouch.
The Ink Blue collection is now available in Singapore at Rimowa’s Mandarin Gallery and Marina Bay Sands boutiques. Shoppers can also find it online via the newly launched e-commerce platform. Consider this another reason to start planning your next trip.
