Rimowa has spent over a century perfecting the suitcase. Now the German luggage specialist applies that same engineering to a very different object. The newly unveiled Dartboard Case marks another exciting entry to its Specialties category. This growing family of limited-edition objects translates Rimowa’s craftsmanship into collectible pieces meant for more than just the road.

Rather than starting from scratch, Rimowa reworked the traditional darts cabinet through its own design language. Firstly, a double-door aluminium structure wears the familiar ribbed pattern in silver. Polished custom latches, plane-engraved rivets and a black leather carry handle echo the hardware on the brand’s suitcases. These all serve functional purposes while giving the piece its own sporting character.
The Dartboard Case mounts flush to a wall when not in use, but picks up just as easily for transport, blurring the line between furniture and travel object. For the equipment, Rimowa turned to Winmau, the UK-based official dartboard supplier to the Professional Darts Corporation. Chosen for its scoring consistence and professional standing, a custom Winmau Blade X nestles in black microfibre within.
The collaboration extends to the darts themselves, of course. Each door compartment holds three darts finished with black Rimowa-branded shafts and red-and-green flights. The restrained colour palette ties the two brands together. A dedicated leather pouch rounds out the set, built to carry spares while protecting the equipment in transit.
To introduce the piece, Rimowa enlisted director Grégoire Dyer to film a campaign starring actor Walton Goggins inside its historic factory in Cologne, Germany. The exclusive Dartboard Case launches worldwide on 30 July 2026. It retails at SGD9350 in Singapore, with only selected boutiques stocking it.
