The brand’s customisation service lets you assemble your own suitcase through four deliberate choices, each one layering personality onto that unmistakable metallic shell. Think of it as packing your identity before you pack anything else.

The process begins with selecting the body colour and size. Black, Silver and Titanium are on offer, in sizes from Cabin to Trunk. Each showcases the metallic sheen that has defined the grooved aluminium for decades. This is the most practical of the four steps, rather like the chassis built to survive baggage handlers and overhead bins. It also sets the stage for the more expressive decisions ahead.
Next comes the luggage tag. Rimowa’s customisation service offers shades well beyond the standard black. Choose from Cactus green, Paprika red, Clementine orange, Cognac brown, Taupe, Ocean blue, Sunflower yellow and Orchid or Rose pink. Then add up to three initials in a foil colour of your choice, so the tag becomes an unmistakable signal on any airport carousel.
Handles, meanwhile, deliver a subtler surprise. An unexpected pink or orange grip against the aluminium turns an everyday touchpoint into a conversation starter. The final flourish sits at the base. More playful wink than bold statement, they’re glimpsed when the case tips onto its side or glides through a terminal. The wheels come in the same generous palette as the handles and luggage tags.
