Pharrell Williams has never been shy about his reference points. His latest sneaker for Louis Vuitton, the LV Drop 300, wears its inspiration right in its name. Unveiled on the runway at the fall-winter 2026 show, it centres on a single, oddly satisfying fact. It weighs just over 300 g. Indeed, that flex alone spawns a lineup of eight models across an assortment of colours and materials.

The design language is unmistakably retro-athletic. Its sculpted soles and runner’s profile call back to a very specific era of fitness culture - think cereal-box sports stars and VHS workout tapes. Louis Vuitton isn’t recreating that moment so much as translating it, layering smooth nylon panels over a substantial rubber outsole. The result is a contemporary heft that belies the shoe’s featherweight build.
On the materials front, the LV Drop 300’s upper relies on water-resistant nylon with either suede calf leather or python trims. Meanwhile, an extra-special version uses the maison’s proprietary LV Silk Tech. The blend of 51 percent silk and 49 percent recycled nylon is lightweight, durable and water-repellent. Underfoot, thermoformed insoles handle cushioning, while the flexible, streamlined structure underpins shock absorption and easy movement.
House signatures are present but lean lowkey. Subtle LV branding runs along the upper and tongue, while a Monogram flower detail sits at the heel. Three key iterations anchor the range. Classic nylon-and-suede renditions range from monochromatic neutrals in Beige and Black to punchier Blue, Jaune Clair and Orange. The LV Silk Tech version adds an unmissable monogram motif. Python-trimmed pairs, meanwhile, cater to those who want extra edge.
With eight options in total, the LV Drop 300 sneaker covers both minimalist and maximalist collectors. Prices start at SGD1490 for nylon-and-suede pairs, rising to SGD1650 for LV Silk Tech and SGD2170 for python.
