Some bags are famous for their hardware, others for their monogram. The Puzzle, however, has always stood apart for its shape. That faceted, geometric silhouette that looks folded into being rather than stitched. This season, Loewe stretches that idea into a new proportion with the large Featherlight Puzzle.

Despite its expanded scale, this large-format version uses supple nappa lambskin, keeping things soft and slouchy rather than stiff. It looks structured from across a room, yet feels forgiving the moment it lands in your hand. That tension between form and give is what the Featherlight range does best, of course.

The shoulder strap is fully detachable and adjustable, with a drop length ranging from 36 to 57 cm. That range lets the Featherlight Puzzle sit either crossbody or over the shoulder. Or ditch it entirely for a straight hand-carry via the top handle. The strap attaches through rotating dog-clips, a small but clever hardware detail that prevents twisting over a day of wear.

Inside and out, the details add up. A zipper pocket sits on the exterior rear, while two open slip pockets line the interior. The zip closure features articulated pulls that lend a tactile, engineered quality. Each bag also comes with a detachable tag and a small balloon-shaped die charm. Both are playful, slightly toylike touches tucked into an otherwise serious-looking silhouette.

At 33 cm by 21.5 cm, this is officially the largest Featherlight Puzzle yet. Newly arrived in stores, the bag retails at SGD8100 and comes in Black, Dark Chestnut and Tomette. Loewe parks it under mens, but its oversized proportions and unfussy carrying options suit any shoulder.
