The bag once affectionately known as the Dior Crunchy finally has an official name. It is now the Dior Milly-La-Forêt, a tribute to the countryside village where Christian Dior found his creative sanctuary. More than a simple rebrand, the name change roots the design even deeper in the maison’s heritage.

Milly-la-Forêt sits just south of Paris, a picturesque village where Monsieur Dior retreated from the pace of city life. Surrounded by orchards and gardens, he drew inspiration from nature, quiet moments and the beauty of slowing down. That same sense of unhurried elegance now lives on through the bag’s relaxed, slouchy silhouette.

First unveiled as the Dior Crunchy in the spring-summer 2026 collection, the Dior Milly-La-Forêt reimagines the Cannage motif through a contemporary lens. Jonathan Anderson swapped traditional quilting for a Puffy Macrocannage treatment in buttery calfskin. That sculptural, cloud-like finish is what inspired the original nickname.

Available in two sizes, the bag arrives in timeless shades including black, white and latte, with seasonal colours joining the lineup. The small (SGD5800), measuring 33 cm by 24 cm, also comes with an adjustable, removable leather strap for crossbody wear. Meanwhile, the medium (SGD6400) stands at 39 cm by 31 cm, spacious enough to hold a 15-inch laptop with ease.

Double chain handles thread through eyelets engraved with the Dior signature, so you can carry the relaxed rectangular shape by hand or over the shoulder. From playful debut name to heritage-laden title, the Dior Milly-La-Forêt cements its place in Dior’s bag canon.
