Tucked within one of Singapore’s most iconic landmarks is a horlogerie destination well worth knowing. Audemars Piguet’s first AP House in Singapore opened in 2025 inside the historic Bar & Billiard Room at Raffles Hotel. Also established in cities like London, Tokyo and Hong Kong, the concept that’s designed to feel like a home is equal parts cultural hub, watch showcase and elegant lounge.

Spanning over 1,000 sqm, the Singapore outpost channels the spirit of Le Brassus, the Swiss village where the maison originated. The setting’s original architectural details form the backdrop for locally sourced rain tree timber, warm stone finishes and soft green accents. These touches, inspired by Singapore’s Garden City identity, ground the space firmly in its surroundings.
Watches naturally take centrestage at AP House. Heritage pieces sit alongside the maison’s latest creations, tracing 151 years of innovation from one of Switzerland’s most celebrated watchmakers. Beyond the showcases, however, the space unfolds like a private residence. An inviting central living area features a bar and long dining table, while separate lounges and a dedicated music salon complete the experience.
Venture downstairs if you can to discover a hidden highlight. The basement currently hosts 150 Years of Refined Elegance, an exhibition celebrating the maison’s mastery of miniaturisation. Some of Audemars Piguet’s smallest and thinnest mechanical movements are on display, including an extraordinary 18 MM minute repeating calibre from the late 19th century. Admission is complimentary, though advance online registration is necessary.

Exceptional watchmaking is reason enough to visit, but the world’s first AP Café also calls Singapore’s AP House home. Swiss culinary traditions meet local flavours, proving that craftsmanship extends well beyond the wrist. The menu spans savoury dishes, desserts, specialty coffee and alcoholic beverages. For July, the café also teams up with local gelato brand Birds of Paradise for a refreshing seasonal collaboration.
