This summer, Burberry heads to Thailand, transforming The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon into a vibrant pop of colour. The British heritage house has taken over the hotel for the season, blending its signature codes with the energy of one of Asia's most dynamic capitals.

Set within the striking King Power Mahanakhon tower, the property gets a playful Burberry makeover throughout. The brand’s iconic check, rendered in a custom sunny yellow, appears across poolside cabanas and loungers at the sky-high terrace pool. It also extends to the photo booth in The Parlor, the hotel’s central hub on the first floor.
The takeover also nods to Burberry’s longstanding connection to the great outdoors. Drawing on Bangkok’s official colour green, the brand has worked the vibrant shade into the activation’s logo. To match, a series of bespoke wellness moments and curated experiences await guests throughout their stay.
The standout is undoubtedly the poolside experience, where you lounge on Burberry daybeds under matching parasols. While you relax, pick from a specially curated menu and cool down with ice lollies served from a bespoke cart. Sweeping views of the city skyline complete the sun-soaked afternoon.
For those keen to take a stylish memento of the takeover home, a dedicated boutique stocks pieces from the high summer and summer 2026 collections. Running until 31 July 2026, the Burberry takeover at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon makes for the perfect fashion-forward city escape this summer.
