Launched as part of Prada’s  Days of Summer campaign, the new Prada Bonnie arrives in a mix of printed linen and supple leather. The considered combination carries a beautifully lived-in aesthetic that deserves a closer look. Slight creasing and gentle wrinkling run throughout, adding character while highlighting linen’s natural irregularities.

This interplay of textures, neither fully smooth nor overtly rough, lends the bag a sense of well-loved charm. As a result, it feels already lived with, as though it carries stories of sunlit mornings and leisurely afternoons.

Where the original Prada Bonnie excelled with a clean, uninterrupted leather silhouette, this iteration introduces a more tactile approach. Linen meets leather, thus creating subtle visual tension. The introduction of an external flap pocket adds dimension, while an adjustable and removable strap suggests utility without disrupting proportions.

Leather trims in tonal off-white, paired with silver-toned buckles, allow the bag to catch light quietly, without flash. The Milano tag, suspended from the dual top handles by a short leather keeper, becomes the only visible branding. It does exactly what it needs to, nothing more, nothing less.

There are a total of four sizes to consider, starting with the small at 23.5 cm by 12 cm. Next comes the medium at 32 cm by 15.5 cm, while the large measures 38 cm by 24 cm. Finally, the self-explanatory tote bag tops out at 42 cm by 30 cm. Each comes with the strap, allowing the Prada Bonnie to transition easily between top-handle and hands-free wear.
