Launched last year to celebrate the original Puzzle’s tenth anniversary, the Featherlight Puzzle was an ode to Loewe’s signature icon. But many felt like the slouchy, ultra-supple design in small and mini sizes deserved more room to breathe. Now, it finally has, as the Medium Featherlight Puzzle expands the conversation with a more generous, easy-going presence.
A year after making waves as the lightest Puzzle ever, the shift feels both subtle and significant. Rather than reinventing the bag entirely, the Spanish fashion house refines how it is worn. In doing so, the new size gently changes the relationship between bag and body, offering a more relaxed, intuitive carry.
The Medium Featherlight Puzzle measures 29 cm wide and 19.5 cm high, making it noticeably larger than its siblings. At the same time, it introduces a longer shoulder handle that completely rewrites its posture. Worn on the shoulder, it rests comfortably against the body, while the geometric, origami-inspired panels soften into something more casual.
The interior mirrors this same buttery sensibility, since the bag is crafted entirely in soft nappa lambskin. When you open the bag, there is no tonal break, no jarring contrast, only a seamless continuity of material. While the detachable sling remains for crossbody wear, Loewe prefers to lead with the shoulder handle with this new size.
Retailing at SGD7450, the Medium Featherlight Puzzle arrives in Deep Saffron, Pecan and Silk Beige with gold-tone hardware. Another in Black pairs with palladium-tone hardware. Each bag also comes with an embossed tag that opens to reveal a hidden pocket and balloon dice charm. Altogether, Loewe ebalances thoughtful construction with a touch of playful charm.
