Ladurée has returned to Singapore, bringing its pastel-hued world of macarons, chocolates and tea-room romance to Takashimaya Shopping Centre. The permanent flagship boutique marks a new chapter for the storied patisserie, founded in 1862 on Rue Royale in Paris and celebrated for inventing the now-iconic double-shell macaron.
The new address delivers an expanded Ladurée experience designed for dining in, thoughtful gifting, takeaways and chic pauses between Orchard Road shopping. A distinctive pastel-green façade welcomes guests into an intimate 10-seater space inspired by the romance of a Parisian tea salon. Meanwhile, elongated glass displays showcase rows of confectionery and elegantly packaged treats for leisurely browsing.

Of course, the real draw remains the return of Ladurée’s well-loved macarons. More than 15 flavours line the counters, spanning classics like Pistachio, Rose and Salted Caramel. Newer creations include Matcha, Dubai Chocolate and Milk Chocolate Coated Coconut. Each delicate confection retails at SGD4.20, while ornate Napoléon III and Arabesque gift boxes start from SGD25 for six macarons.
Another highlight arrives through the Eugénie chocolate collection, priced at SGD4 each. Beneath the thin pastel-coloured chocolate shell finished with the signature L sits a crisp sablé biscuit and melting centre. New flavours like Coconut, Matcha and Peanut join enduring favourites such as Pistachio and Hazelnut, while elegant gift boxes begin at SGD23.80 for a set of six.
The expanded chocolate selection also extends to adorable milk and dark chocolate marshmallow bears, alongside biscuits and tea boxes. A curated beverage menu complements the sweet offerings with speciality coffee, hot chocolate and teas. If you’re craving frozen desserts, go for vanilla soft serve made with real vanilla beans and matcha crafted using high-grade Kyoto ceremonial matcha.
And if you still need another reason to visit B1-13/13A Takashimaya Shopping Centre, know that Ladurée now extends into lifestyle territory as well. Expect a curated edit of tote bags, notebooks and travel accessories that reflect the maison’s enduring art of gifting.
