In doing so, it reasserts its identity through a refreshed design.
The embossed grid exterior sets itself apart from the familiar parallel grooves. It reinforces durability while introducing a new sense of architectural sophistication. Offered as a limited-edition series, the Classic Aluminium Grid arrives in three distinct sizes. The Hand-Carry Case is an ode to the original cases from 1969, and come with a single top handle. Meanwhile, the Classic Cabin and Classic Trunk reframe the house’s established silhouettes. Each piece pairs the striking grid-patterned aluminium with heritage blue leather handles, adding a refined contrast.
While the exterior speaks of protection and resilience, the interior offers a softer counterpoint. Gently push the TSA-approved locks to reveal a quilted lining that mirrors the grid motif. This time, however, it appears in a plush, tactile material. Crafted in Cologne, each piece is numbered, underscoring its rarity while preserving its legacy for a new generation of travellers.
The Hand-Carry Case (SGD3110) is ideal for a weekend getaway. The Cabin (SGD3630), on the other hand, will stretch to about four days. Meanwhile, the hefty Trunk (SGD4320) accommodates up to 16 to 17 days of travel.
