Celine Beauté made its debut in 2024 with a single, statement-making lipstick. The Le Rouge Celine in the classic red 01 Rouge Triomphe was an instant hit. Since then, the line grew to include 15 satin lipstick shades rooted in Parisian allure. Now, the maison introduces a softer extension, the Le Rouge Celine Matte Lip Balm.
Designed for those who favour a matte finish with added comfort, the new collection offers a versatile alternative. It comprises eight shades, including one universal clear balm and seven tinted hues. Each delivers a sheer, buildable wash of colour. Expect a palette spanning nudes and a soft rosy brown to pinks and a luminous red.
Composed of 94 percent natural-origin ingredients, the formula focuses on moisture and wearability. It blends nourishing oils with squalane, sunflower and rice wax, as well as beeswax, for comfort. At the same time, black rose oil extract and hyaluronic acid spheres enhance hydration. As such, the Le Rouge Celine Matte Lip Balm leaves lips feeling cocooned, with a softly blurred, matte finish.
Application also feels intuitive, thanks to a wide, bevelled bullet designed for generous swipes. Each use feels effortless and controlled, leaving you with a polished pout. Like the maison’s lipsticks, the lip balms carry a fresh, sugary rose scent. They also leave behind a powdery trail reminiscent of Celine’s Haute Parfumerie signatures.
Echoing the lipsticks, the matte lip balms come in refillable cases inspired by late-18th century French classicism. But while the lipsticks come in gold, these feature a silver finish. The weighty, faceted design is embossed with the Triomphe emblem and encircled by a ring with a ‘Le Rouge Celine Paris’ engraving. It also comes in its very own black velvet pouch.
Launching on 2 April 2026 in Singapore, the Le Rouge Celine Matte Lip Balm will be available at Celine boutiques at ION Orchard, Takashimaya Shopping Centre and Marina Bay Sands.
