Saint Laurent fans who love the Icarino but want a strap now have the perfect answer. Enter the scaled-down Icarino Mini, a charming arrival that maintains the look while adding a sling chain. It distils everything you love about the original into a compact silhouette with added versatility.
Designed as a smaller counterpart to the oversized Icare tote, the Icarino borrows the same eye-catching diamond-quilted topstitching. It also carries the bold YSL Cassandre logo front and centre. Unsurprisingly, it has fast become the It-bag of the season. The slouchy hobo shape in quilted nappa or suede balances ease with unmistakable Saint Laurent polish.
While the Icare functions as a relaxed everyday shopper, the smaller Icarino is a chic hand-held style. Measuring 26 cm by 13 cm, it holds all the essentials and moves easily from day to night. This leads us to the latest size, the Icarino Mini, which comes in at 19 cm by 12 cm.
Crafted in lambskin and finished with the same Cassandre hardware, it still delivers the design’s signature impact. The diamond quilting remains a key visual cue, of course.
