For spring-summer 2026, Prada offers a confident, definitive answer to the anti-It bag conversation. Designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, Prada's Passage sidesteps loud monograms, bright colours and trendy prints. Instead, the focus shifts to restraint, clarity and a deliberate study in material tension.

At first glance, the new-in style reads understated, yet its construction tells a richer story. A structured leather body meets a Re-Nylon flap, forming a refined ‘bag within a bag’ concept. This juxtaposition of smooth leather and technical nylon mirrors the runway’s pairing of leather opera gloves and diaphanous skirts.

Then there’s functionality, approached with Prada’s usual precision. The tucked-in flap opens via magnetic buttons to reveal three internal compartments, each segmented for easy flow. For now, the Passage comes in a single size, measuring 28.5 cm wide by 14.5 cm high.

Although there’s no additional strap, the elongated leather handles make shoulder carry effortless. A generous 28 cm drop length ensures comfort throughout the day. The format feels both practical and intentional for daily use.

Featured in Prada’s spring-summer 2026 campaign, the bag becomes part of a larger visual narrative. Shot by American artist Anne Collier, the “Image of an Image” series spotlights Hunter Schafer carrying the bag. Retailing at SGD5500 in either black or brown, the bag proves quiet confidence still carries the most impact.
