Few motifs in jewellery are as iconic as Van Cleef & Arpels’ Alhambra, and the new Sweet Alhambra Watch adds to this legacy. Since 1968, the four-leaf silhouette has represented fortune and finesse. What began as a long necklace of 20 clover motifs soon became a signature. Despite its creative evolution, it remains a recognisable token of good luck even today.
Over the years, the collection has expanded to include bracelets, rings and earrings. Each piece interprets the familiar motif through precious materials and refined colours. The maison continues to explore new cuts and textures. It also expands the ways the emblem appears on the skin.
Then, 1998 saw the Alhambra venture into timekeeping. Watches brought its enchanting design language into a new space. These jewels that tell time preserved the art of daily jewellery-wearing, while introducing fresh functions and silhouettes. Now, Van Cleef & Arpels unveils a new chapter through the Sweet Alhambra Watch.

The Swiss-quartz movement sits in a distinctive 22.7 MM white gold case. Motifs of precious and ornamental stones alternate with guilloché white gold. This combination marks a first for the watch line. Each symbol is bordered with delicate beads and a mirror-polish rim, while 36 diamonds complete the composition.
More than a way to tell time, the exquisite timepiece creates graphic depth with chalcedony striations and radiant guilloché. Scattering light across the wrist, the Sweet Alhambra Watch wears like jewellery in true Van Cleef & Arpels style.
