The fashion world loves a triumphant return, and Celine delivers one definitely worth cheering about. For spring 2026, the house reimagines one of the most defining handbag silhouettes of the 2010s. The New Luggage feels reassuringly familiar yet strikingly new, signalling a fresh chapter for the storied French maison.
The OG Luggage was an instant phenomenon when it launched. The trapezoidal shape quickly gained fans for the playful ‘face’ that its front seams, handles and signature zip pocket formed. In September, Celine even unveiled a special ‘Smiley’ version as a limited one-off at Marina Bay Sands and ION Orchard.

While that has come and gone, the New Luggage picks up the narrative with an all-straight zip. This single shift moves the bag’s attitude from charmingly quirky to unequivocally chic.
Although the new iteration loses its smile, it still retains its east-west proportions. Also returning are the sewn-back construction and elongated flap that neatly conceals the top zip closure. The use of supple lambskin also adds movement and ease, giving the bag a sleeker and more contemporary profile.
Celine’s New Luggage appears across both women’s and men’s runway looks, cementing its place as a sophisticated carryall for all. Three sizes will be available: small (SGD4950) at 15.5 cm by 11 cm, medium (SGD5900) at 22 cm by 16 cm, and large (SGD6500) at 44 cm by 37 cm.
