Loewe once again proves that art and whimsy can coexist in perfect harmony. Its latest capsule, inspired by eccentric British artist Louis Wain, brings surrealist joy to the brand’s spring-summer 2026 pre-collection. The late artist’s Futurist Cat appear throughout as colourful motifs that dance across Loewe’s signature leather goods.
The Futurist Cat Clutch (SGD4600) leads the highly collectable line-up. A reimagining of Wain’s signature porcelain vases, it bold leather marquetry with intricate detailing imparts a 3D pop of colour. The same vibrant treatment continues across the Medium Puzzle Fold Tote (SGD3900), as well as the coin case (SGD1500) and coin cardholder (SGD890).
Other house icons also get their feline moment. The Futurist Cat Compact Hammock Bag (SGD6600) even comes with a detachable cat-shape purse that doubles as a charm. Meanwhile, the Futurist Cat Mini Puzzle Bag (SGD4350) takes on a softer approach with marquetry corner panels on white calfskin. Both balance Loewe’s craft with playful wit.
As for denim lovers, don’t worry, because Loewe has not left you out. The Cats Medium Flamenco (SGD4990) and Cats Amazona 23 (SGD5990) trade leather marquetry for embroidered denim. Stamped with tactile all-over cat motifs, these styles are equal parts fun and functional.
And for a touch of holiday cheer, three small accessories complete the story. Firstly, the Futurist Cat Bauble (SGD290) in blown glass makes the perfect holiday ornament. Then the Futurist Cat Dice (SGD450) adds playful attitude with its tongue peeking out from the enamel. Lastly, the scarf (SGD950) covered in Wain’s cats delivers warmth and whimsy with a wink.
