Another day, another fabulous shoe collaboration. This time, Valentino Garavani and Vans take the spotlight. Eagle-eyed fans may have first spotted the pair on Alessandro Michele’s fall-winter 2025 runway show for Valentino. But now it’s time for you to get your hands, or rather, feet on this limited-edition drop.
For decades, fashion and skateboarding culture were polar opposites. One was defined by design, flair and craftsmanship, while a laidback, street-level authenticity characterises the other. Yet, in 2025, these two seemingly disparate universes are finding common ground.

By reinterpreting the classic Vans Authentic (a symbol of youth and rebellion since 1966), Michele is ushering into a new audience into the Valentino fold. In doing so, he also acknowledges the cultural weight of a timeless classic. Despite retaining the original’s familiar canvas upper and rubber waffle outsole, the pair takes on a new creative energy.
There are six unisex iterations to look forward to. Firstly, the checkerboard motif that features the co-branded Valentino VLogo Signature and Vans’ logo. There’s also an exclusive Valentino Le Chat de la Maison, which depicts playful, whimsical cats on the sneaker’s upper. Each pair is a conversation starter, where the unexpected marries the iconic, and where the street and runway meet.
In Singapore, the Valentino Garavani and Vans collaborative shoe capsule launches on mid-September 2025, and retails at SGD680.
