Think of a hobo bag, and visuals of a soft, slouchy carryall immediately come to mind. But under the creative direction of Valentino's Alessandro Michele, the quintessential hobo silhouette takes a twist. Strips of shiny and matte nappa leather intertwine to form an eye-catching chevron weave on the all-new Valentino Garavani Hoboho.
Running down the front and back of the bag, the geometric patchwork suggests forward momentum, mirroring the dynamism of today. Punctuated by palladium-finish studs, the chevron motifs meet in a soft, rounded base. Finally, a gold-tone VLogo Signature, symbol of the house’s storied heritage, takes its place in the centre with quiet confidence.
The Garavani Hoboho arrives just in time for fall-winter 2025 in two sizes for him and her. The small measures 28 cm by 21.5 cm, while the standard is proportionately larger at 35 cm by 27 cm. Each incorporates an adjustable studded shoulder strap that imparts functionality along with a rather rebellious spirit.
Embodying a powerful yet sophisticated approach through an eclectic interplay of textures and form, the Hoboho ushers in a new era of Valentino Garavani style. The small and standard sizes are currently retailing at SGD4200 and SGD4380 respectively.
