Rimowa is synonymous with grooved suitcases that are universally loved for their cool industrial design and robust engineering. But what if the German luggage brand were to launch an entirely new line of everyday bags, and not in gleaming aluminium or lightweight polycarbonate, but in supple leather? Well, it doesn’t matter, because the all-new Groove collection makes this a reality.
As its name suggests, the entire line features Rimowa’s signature grooves. Rendered in horizontal and vertical patterns across the leather, they impart a lovely tactile feel while adding visual interest. Launching on 22 September 2025 are four different styles, each purposeful in its design and make.

The Groove Cross-Body Bag is available in two sizes. Both the small (SGD1600) and large (SGD2360) sizes feature a wide zip opening, making it easy to access contents. You can carry each via its single top handle, while an elongated strap lets you sling it over the shoulder and, of course, across the body.

The next two styles are much bigger, packing ample space for documents and an iPad. Sure to become daily companions, the Sliding Hobo Bag (SGD2700) and Shopping Bag (SGD2870) also boast two useful key features. There’s a 2-in-1 pouch, while a slip pocket at the back can slide over the handles of your favourite Rimowa suitcase.
Black is standard across all four styles in Rimowa’s Groove collection, whereas silver is a seasonal release for selected pieces. If you’re looking for a pop of colour, the Small Cross-Body Bag will also come in burgundy, green and pink. Ready to groove?
