Hermès Rodeo charm offers an unbridled gallop of whimsy, wrapping a pop of fun around the handles of your handbag. It swiftly earned its stripes as one of the most coveted bag charms at the French fashion house. Unsurprisingly, since the Rodeo is a symbol of unadulterated joy, available in a multitude of colour combinations.

From the gentle curves of the horse’s body to the playful flutter of its mane and the careful placement of contrasting panels on the saddle and tail, each element showcases thoughtful attention to detail. Even the leather body (a mix of Milo lambskin and Swift calfskin) boasts a cotton-like puffiness. This adds a delightfully tangible element that’s also nice to touch.

For now, the Rodeo (from SGD1000) comes in two sizes, with the PM measuring 9.7 cm by 7.8 cm. The MM, on the other hand, stands slightly wider and taller at 12.7 cm by 10.5 cm. Another option is the Rodeo Pegase (from SGD1150), which sees a pair of wings replacing the saddle.

But if you fancy a dash of the exotic, selected charms come with croc skin. This appears either as the saddle in the Rodeo Touch or wings of the Rodeo Pegase Touch. Prices for these are slightly higher, of course, and start from SGD1400, depending on the size.

Whether as a conversation starter, secret wink amongst fans and collectors, or a personal declaration of a whimsical spirit, the Rodeo charm, in all its forms, serves as a reminder to embrace a little bit of imaginative escape amidst a busy day.
