Saint Laurent’s Y Tote grows in popularity, as celebrities such as Bella Hadid, Cha Eun Woo and Rosé prove. Making a minimalist style statement, the maison continues to release new variations of the design each season. This trend shows no signs of abating, with the introduction of a full-suede Y Tote in July 2025.
Suede offers a tactile experience that is both rich yet understated, making it an excellent alternative to traditional leathers. The bag also maintains its refined appeal, thanks to its relatively clean exterior. Except for the subtle ‘Y’ stitching taken from Saint Laurent’s archives imbuing the bag with a sense of history and legacy, of course.
The natural-tone suede exterior juxtaposes against a tonal leather lining, ensuring that the Y Tote feels lovely to the touch both inside and out. Yet, this detail does not stop the bag from staying lightweight. Hence, it makes it an excellent choice for busy city commutes and weekend getaways.
Another plus point to note? The interior thoughtfully features a zip pocket and brass carabiner, allowing for easy organisation within its generous proportions. As usual, the broad handles ensure the bag rests comfortably on your shoulder or in hand, no matter its contents.
Saint Laurent’s Y Tote in suede launches in the large size, measuring 68 cm wide and 43 cm high. Retailing at SGD6590, this hefty carryall promises to be an excellent companion for those fulfilling shopping sprees.
