From its long-term involvement with the ANDAM Fashion Awards to regular collaboration with artists, Longchamp is committed to supporting innovative creative talents and preserving artisanal craftsmanship. The same is true with its latest partnership with French furniture designer Pierre Renart.
Renart’s claim to fame are his elegant, sinuous wood creations that inevitably find their way into museums and private collections. You might even see them at Longchamp boutiques, notably the maison’s flagship on Regent Street in London, for example.

Now, the two brands are taking their relationship a step further. The duo teamed up to create two exclusive furniture designs that they are unveiling at the upcoming Milan Design Week. The Wave Leather Bench and a set of eight Ruban Chairs will then be on display at Longchamp’s Milan flagship.
This is the first time Renaut is working with a combination of wood and leather, the latter a nod to Longchamp’s leather-crafting heritage. Both sculptural designs are crafted from American walnut and upholstered in a supple cowhide leather. Expect a reprisal of the strikingly fluid lines that Renart is famous for.
Drawing inspiration from the organic forms of nature, he painstakingly assembles extremely thin sheets of wood sculpted in one flowing movement. The upholstery of the bench features a rich mahogany leather, while different shades cover the chairs. These include Longchamp’s signature heritage dark and light greens, of course.
Both pieces of furniture will be on display at Longchamp’s Milan flagship on Via della Spiga from 7 April to 13 May 2025, with only the unique chairs available for purchase.
