It’s not always that a brand manages to strike the perfect chord between archival inspiration and contemporary relevance. But the latest to do so? Ferragamo, with its newly unveiled Soft-bag. As its name suggests, this reinterpretation of an archival style is all about fluidity.

With its clean, rounded silhouette and irresistibly supple semi-glossy nappa leather, the design perfectly balances softness and structure. This results in effortless sophistication, with just the right amount of slouch.
Finer details on the Soft-bag further showcase the Italian house’s craftsmanship. Examples include voluminous pleats that add dimension and visual interest. At the same time, the iconic Gancini piercing along the top is a nod to Ferragamo’s storied heritage.
Versatility is another hallmark of the thoughtful design. Ideal for those on the go, the bag effortlessly transforms from casual shoulder bag or hands-free crossbody to sleek clutch. Simply tuck either the dual handles or accompanying shoulder strap inwards for seamless shifts in styling.
Form and function aside, the Soft-bag comes in three sizes. Firstly, the small measures 27 cm by 18 cm and offers classic colours of Black, Klein and Pink. Then, at 35 cm by 24.5 cm, the medium size is available in Black and Cement. Lastly, for those who prefer to carry it all, the large at 44 cm by 30 cm comes in Black.
