As one of his final flourishes for Dior, Kim Jones introduced the Dior Normandie bag as part of the French fashion house’s summer 2025 collection. In a departure from the noise of logo-driven trends, the style instead focuses on the newly christened Dior Icons calfskin.

The leather carries a matte, grained texture, while staying surprisingly soft and lightweight. Aged silver eyelets, exclusive to the Dior Normandie line, and the bold DIOR lettering on the front strap add further dimension and a layer of visual intrigue against the grained leather body.

Functionality is not sacrificed for beauty either. This is evident in the curved handles and adjustable shoulder strap that speak to the demands of contemporary life. A thoughtfully designed interior ensures belongings remain secure and organised within extra slip pockets and zip compartments.

Available in a trio of beige, black, and brown Dior Icons calfskin, the Dior Normandie whispers minimalist sensibility. With its neutral hues, this 42 cm by 27.5 cm tote bag effortlessly adapts to any aesthetic. Large enough to fit a 15-inch MacBook, this solid carryall will take you from the office to casual weekends.

Combining the tactile nature of Dior Icons calfskin leather with a design that prioritises substance over spectacle, the Dior Normandie scores top points. Priced at SGD9700, it is only available at boutiques in Singapore and not for sale online.
