For Gabrielle Chanel, true chance was never a matter of fate, but rather something you create for yourself. Embodying that bold philosophy, Chanel launched its first Chance fragrance in 2003. Since then, the collection has blossomed into a kaleidoscope of five floral scents, including its latest addition, Chance Eau Splendide.
Each iteration of Chance expresses a unique olfactory identity with its own distinctive colour. The original floral-spicy version is an amber-coloured composition of patchouli, pink pepper and musk. While its successor, Chance Eau Fraîche, is a sparkling green juice energised by citron, jasmine and iris.
Next came Chance Eau Tendre in a soft and romantic pink, brimming with notes of grapefruit, quince and jasmine. Then in 2015, the floral-zesty Chance Eau Vive, with notes of grapefruit, blood orange, jasmine and cedar iris, debuted in a soft orange hue.

This brings us to the fifth and latest scent to join the family. In a fresh purple colour, the fruity-floral Chance Eau Splendide sparkles with joy and playfulness. Bright raspberry accord dances with rose and violet, while a heart of rose geranium adds depth and elegance. The eau de parfum then settles to reveal a sophisticated and powdery dry down, grounded by cedar and white mask for a dynamic finish.
