In celebration of Samsonite’s 115th anniversary, the travel luggage company unveils the New Streamlite collection. To commemorate its journey over the years, the new range is a contemporary reinterpretation of one of its most iconic cases from the 1940s.
The original Streamlite gained acclaim for its use of durable yet lightweight lithographed paper, an innovative material that mimicked rawhide. Now, Samsonite not only brings it back, but also re-engineers it for the modern explorer.
Blending heritage with cutting-edge materials and technology, the reimagined masterpiece features the brand’s latest Aero-Trac Whirl Suspension Wheel technology. Besides offering effortless mobility, it also incorporates a sturdy exterior shell fitted with a TSA-approved lock frame. What’s more, its one-touch control panel ensures ease of access.

That said, the New Streamlite still pays homage to its legacy with design elements that evoke vintage charm. Aside from its refined, boxy shape with soft, rounded corners, its interiors also ooze heritage. The thoughtfully designed main compartment, which features multiple sleeves and pockets for easy organisation, dons a distinctive English paisley pattern for a layer of old-world luxury.
The exclusive collection that’s limited to just 2025 pieces worldwide is now available in selected stores and online. It comprises one briefcase (SGD550) and two luggage sizes, the Spinner 55 (SGD900) and Spinner 75 (SGD1200).
The entire New Streamlite range comes in two colours, Admiral Blue and Bermuda Green, with contrasting details and trim in a cream hue. Each also comes with a unique serial number engraving and monogrammable tag, so you can make this modern classic your own.
